WARHAMMER 40,000: DARKTIDE - XBOX SERIES X|S LAUNCH & CLASS OVERHAUL GAME UPDATE

Fatshark releases its biggest update yet to Warhammer 40,000: Darktide alongside the highly anticipated launch on Xbox Series X|S. independent developer Fatshark releases Warhammer 40,000: Darktide, a brutal co-op FPS set in the grim, dark universe of Warhammer 40,000, on Xbox Series X|S alongside Patch #13 - Class Overhaul. This significant game update is a complete reinvention of the class and feat systems, introducing talent trees and a plethora of new abilities.

The Class Overhaul patch, along with all of the new content and game improvements made to Warhammer 40,000: Darktide since it launched last November, will be included in the Series X|S versions from the start. Warhammer 40,000: Darktide will be available for purchase for Xbox in two editions and is also available Day One on Xbox Game Pass and the community can play across PC and Xbox with crossplay.

Patch #13: Class Overhaul Game Update
The Class Overhaul update grants each Archetypes (Veteran, Zealot, Psyker, Ogryn) emerging trees, providing clear and easily identifiable options, portrayed by a branching end of the trees all the while giving a tinkering space where less obvious combinations of choices create their own build packages. 

The different nodes available within each talent tree are of the following different types:
Blitz ability. The grenade slot for Veteran, Zealot and Ogryn, or Brain Burst slot for the Psyker.
Combat ability. The ultimate, bound by cooldown and high impact on game.
Keystone. More iconic talents vary between the trees but drive playstyle. 
Talent. Interactive buffs that tie into core gameplay loops.
Aura. Various team buffs spread as Coherency bonus.
Stat node. Flat bonus to a core stat (toughness/crit chance/health).

Warhammer 40,000: Darktide is a 4-player co-op experience, where you embark on an exhilarating co-op adventure set against the grim backdrop of the hive city Tertium in the expansive Warhammer 40,000 universe.
