Indie game developer and publisher Driven by Madness Games (GbR) is proud to announce the worldwide release for their debut game Ballooni: Driven By Madness, a retro-inspired 2D platform release where players are challenged to collect and clear each level for coins and other valuable nuggets before progressing further into the game.
Ballooni features the protagonist of the same name driven by madness and humility on a mission to collect valuable coins across a series of challenging levels full of obstacles and crazy enemies to avoid! Your task is to gather enough coins to progress, but it is not an easy task as enemies roam the environment. Along the way, you may collect letters in the correct order for rewards, and portals may be accessed and utilized to enter otherwise inaccessible areas of the map. It is a lot of fun to hop on conveyor belts and floating platforms and you can shoot spells against your enemies to freeze them in time momentarily. Each of the five levels within the game has its own theme and distinct look-and-feel. You must learn to master the Tower of Bats, the Flooding Pyramid, the Labyrinth of Madness, and other levels to beat the game. At the bottom of the screen a scrolling display encourages you along the way and offers funny tips and phrases as you play. Ballooni is a crisp and colorful platform game suitable to players of all ages and experience levels and was designed from the ground up with intuitive controls. Be especially wary of the ghost witch that may chase you throughout the game!
